Beware of Deception Transaction: Hamptons Property (May 2009)
Dear potential customers of Hamptons,
This is to report the deception case from the following property I experienced myself in May 2009.

The Agent (Hamptons) was trying to hide lots of needed information regarding the purchase of the property as shown in the link. He also misinformed myself as a buyer of related expenses. For instance, after signing the offer to buy, he mistakenly told me that I have to pay all common area fees and sinking fund (not stated previously in the contract) on behalf of the seller. Otherwise, I could not get the letter of debt clearance for the Juristic office of the Condo.
After I checked with the Juristic office, I found out that the information I got was totally wrong. This case is clearly evidence of deception and unprofessional practices of this Agent. I decided to withdraw from the purchase because of business misconduct of this Agent. Then, the Agent keeps silence regarding my 50,000 baht deposit. Does he have any legal, professional, and ethical claim on the money?
